The Celermesh upper is flexible, breathable, and yet supportive. The innovative core of the record-breaking shoe is in the forefoot area: the Energyrods. These are five interconnected rods that are permeated with carbon. They imitate the shape of the metatarsal bones and support an anatomically correct, energy-efficient rolling movement.
 

In addition, an innovative plate made of nylon and carbon fibers is located in the heel area.  This helps to control the impact forces on the ankle.
