Train with a plan and run a (new) best time at the #TogetherWeFly VirtualRace on 05.07.2020

For us, the summer of 2020 is all about getting faster together, flying together. Our theme is #TogetherWeFly #FasterTogether. We have chosen the distances of 5 and 10 km for this adventure.
These distances offer every runner the possibility to use our training plan and at the end to run a virtual competition in a new record time. Together with Nike Running and Tom Gröschl, German Marathon Champion, 11th of the European Championships, but also A-License Trainer we have created professional training plans for you.

For whom are the training plans suitable?

The training plans are designed for running beginners up to professionals:  No matter if you are a pro and aim for a time of ≤ 35 minutes on 10km or if you are a beginner and use a training plan for the first time ever to become faster or to reach a goal (≤ 60 min on 10km). For each of you a (new) best time on 5 or 10km is a challenge. For the 5 and 10km distances we offer different training plans according to your average pace (min/km) on 5 or 10 km. For the 5km distance the plans range from a finish time of  ≤20 Min. up to ≤35 Min. For the 10km distance the plans range from ≤35 Min up to ≤65 Min. 

What do the training plans include?

The training plans are set up for 4 weeks. They include specific running and alternative training sessions, tips for workouts with the NTC app, audio-guided runs with the NRC app, explanations for using the training sessions, general explanations of terms and a running shoe advisor.

When does the training plan start? 

The 4-week training plans are designed in such a way that you start training on Monday, 08.06.2020 and can therefore aim for your new best time on Sunday, 05.07.2020 at the #TogetherWeFly Virtual Race. You can also start later and shorten the plan. Of course you can also start your 4-week training when you want and choose your own race day to run a new best time.

Top4running ambassador Marina Andresen, founder of Marathon Travels has already organized two successful Virtual Marathons in the last months. Now Marathon Travels is organizing its next virtual race #TogetherWeFly Virtual Race on 05.07.2020 where you can run the distances 5km or 10km.
