You didn't have the time to follow the Liévin Meeting live? You would like to have a look at this evening which will be remembered as the biggest indoor event of the beginning of the year?
Let's go for a complete review of the evening and as the Liévin meeting is held in France, we also wanted to put a little reminder on the performances of our French athletes:
1. The 1500m:
Jakob Ingebrigtsen never misses the big events. Victory and world record on 1500m Indoor in 3''30"60. The boss of the circuit.
2. 60m:
Marcel Jacobs, the Italian sprinter, reigning Olympic champion in the 100m and 4x100m, made his comeback with a solid victory in 6"50 in the 60m.
3. 3000m Women :
Seyaum Dawit came for the victory but also to show France and the whole of Europe what a great champion she is. Victory in the 3000m, 3rd world performance in 8'23"24, meeting record, the party is full.
4. Long Jump:
The Venezuelan Yulimar Rojas. She dominated the competition and as a bonus she achieved her best individual performance in the event with a jump of 6.81m.
Bekh Romanchuk did not make any marks in the race. Small disappointment for the Ukrainian athlete.
5. Men's 60m hurdles :
Grant Holloway is for the moment untouchable, he won logically in 7"35
On the French side, Pascal Martinot Lagarde took a good second place in 7"46, while Wilhem Belocian missed out and finished last in the final.
6. Women's 60m hurdles:
Laeticia Bapté wins the final in 8"00. The 7"00 barrier has never been so close.
7. 2km Men :
A tactical race where our Frenchmen shone. Azeddine Habz finished third behind Zeleke and Kipsang but above all he made his name on the distance by taking the French record in 4''57"22.

Jimmy Gressier finishes 4th and signs his record on the event
8. Miles race :
Complicated race but the Frenchy Aurore Fleury fought until the end.
So that's it for our return from the Indoor meeting in Liévin.
