Nike Infinity React – review

Nike Infinity React – review

31. 1. 2020 2 min. reading

Tom Gröschel is one of Germany's best marathon runners. In 2018 and 2019 he became German champion over the marathon distance and finished 11th at the 2018 European Championships.

Tom Gröschel, author of the review, has been preparing for the main event of the Tokyo Olympics as a member of the German National Team; together with global stars, such as Mo Farah and Julien Wanders, he’s been training hard in Kenya.

This very talented marathon runner was slowed down by a heel injury and even had to have a surgery at the end of 2019. Lately, he’s been searching for a suitable shoe to reduce the stress on his heel in order to prevent more injuries. We visited Tom in Kenya where he was testing the new Nike Infinity React shoes for us.

Nike React Infinity Run

“The upper is soft and provides a very sock-like feel. The material around the heel is very soft and adjusts to the heel well. The outsole is relatively wide both in the front and under the heel, so you feel safe upon landing. The shoe is perfect for easy, quick runs. The outsole has a good grip on any surface, and its foam provides a good combination of suspension and energy-return.”
